Our Story – Since 2023

Golden Wattle Roadhouse is more than just a place to eat — it’s where good food and genuine hospitality come together. Nestled in the heart of the community, we proudly serve up fresh, hearty meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, seven days a week. Whether you’re a local regular or a traveller passing through, you’ll find a welcoming atmosphere, generous servings, and flavours that feel like home. Our menu is crafted with love, offering everything from classic country breakfasts and burgers to comforting dinners and quick, tasty takeaways to suit every appetite.

Golden Wattle Roadhouse was built on a simple idea: that everyone who passes through Wudinna — whether a local farmer, a long-haul driver, or a family crossing the Nullarbor — deserves a proper, home-cooked meal. Sitting right on Eyre Highway at the centre of town, we’ve made it our mission to be the kind of place people remember and come back to.

We’re a full-service dine-in restaurant and takeaway cafe, open seven days a week from sunrise to well into the evening. Our kitchen works across three menus each day — a hearty Australian breakfast, a classic pub-style lunch, and a dinner menu that brings the warmth of Northern Indian cuisine together with pizzas, schnitzels, and family favourites.
